As a child living in war-torn #Bosnia and #Herzegovina, Srdan Sadikovic received @USAID -funded food aid, while he and his family were besieged in #Sarajevo. Through a U.S. #refugee resettlement program, he and his family immigrated to the United States in 1995. Now as a Presidential Management Fellow with the Office of Food for Peace at USAID, Srdan serves in #Turkey, where he manages food assistance programs in Northwest #Syria. #AmericanHeroesWeek
