Jasmine Gibson served in the consular section at the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia, #Liberia from December 2013-2015. During the #Ebola outbreak, she led the Embassy’s consular section as they remained open to provide services for American citizens living and working in Liberia, conducted visitor visa interviews for Liberians and third country nationals seeking to travel to the United States, and managed the dissemination of emergency messages and pertinent travel related information to Liberians and Americans across the country. “When I reflect on my time in Liberia during the Ebola crisis, I am grateful for the strong leadership and camaraderie exhibited across all sections of the Embassy and United States government.” #AmericanHeroesWeek
