On May 2, 2014, Secretary Kerry visits Juba, South Sudan, to reiterate the need for all parties to respect the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement, to immediately cease attacks on civilians, and to fully cooperate with the United Nations and humanitarian organizations to protect civilians and to provide life-saving assistance to the people of South Sudan. He also meets civil society leaders, IDP representatives, and UNMISS officials.
